Fresh from opening for AC/DC and Amyl and the Sniffers in Sydney, lighting up Lost Paradise Festival on New Year’s Eve, and tearing through four nights at Woodford Folk Festival, LARGE MIRAGE arrive louder, sharper and armed with a stack of new material since their last appearance.
The night celebrates the release of their latest EP Wings of Time, featuring current single ‘Miss Okay’, alongside fan favourites When the Morning Shines, Going Insane and Taking My Time, plus a handful of brand-new songs set to make their live debut. Expect a shimmering, vintage-drenched, retro psych-rock experience, drawing on the spirit of The Who, Cream, Eagles, Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles — while remaining unmistakably and fiercely LARGE MIRAGE.
“Large Mirage kick off the evening with bone-rattling riffs. It's clear why AC/DC chose them as a support.” - Grace Stokes (Scenestr) on Large Mirage supporting AC/DC Sydney.
“The room holds its collective breath, as if we've all been transported back in time… Large Mirage isn't just reviving classic rock; they're reinventing it with fresh fire. I'm already hanging for more…” - Clea-Marie Thorne (Scenestr) on Large Mirage at the Princess Theatre Brisbane.
“This young dynamic quartet have got a certain magic about them… This is modern retro rock done authentically and with so much heart and soul. Unlike others who have attempted to buy into cloning a style or sound, Large Mirage are the real deal…” - Andrew Slaidins (The Rockpit) on Large Mirage at the Forum Melbourne.
